  • International: International Day against Nuclear Tests - Annual observance day established on December 2, 2009 at the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly by the unanimously adopted resolution 64/35, which calls in particular for increasing awareness "about the effects of nuclear weapon test explosions or any other nuclear explosions and the need for their cessation as one of the means of achieving the goal of a nuclear-weapon-free world".
  • Ukraine: Miners' Day - Annual observance day to honor courage and dedication of the workers of the coal industry and recognize the tremendous contribution that miners make in securing its energy needs that are vital to sustaining the socio-economic development of the Ukrainian state.
